I’m sorry that I haven’t been blogging this weekend but I have been not up to par. Since Thursday I have been developing an ear ache, toothache, something dam painful. On Friday when I was posting my last blog to you I thought my teeth were going to fall out. It was hard to talk, eat or think really. So I laid low and didn’t blog.

Ms. Shirley has catered to my eating issues by cooking soft foods like soups and other things. She is a wonderful caring hostess.
On Sunday we went to lunch at the local café here in Furnace Creek Ranch. It was tough for me to eat so; I had a burrito and only ate the insides.
On Monday November 8, my birthday we got up early and after an excruciating sleepless night for me we headed back to Pahrump to an Urgent Care unit. For all of us back east that is an emergency room.
That is where I learned that it was an ear ache/ sinus infection. They put me on an expensive antibiotic named Azithromycin and a steroid named Methylprednisolone.
After a longish wait for my meds to be put up in Walmart we headed back into the valley for a relaxing afternoon.
I will try to get this published as soon as I can so you all know what my reasons for my not being online for 4 days now has been. Also the park is packed and the ranger has been giving patio talks where I usually sit to blog. Timing is now going to be an issue. I will do my best.
I want you all to know here.. that I had a wonderful birthday. Mike and Shirley are special people. I
