We headed under way at 7:44 for a day of just flat roads and construction cones. After an uneventful few hours I told Mike to pull into a rest area so I could pee. When pulling in Mike made the observation of the trailer having a flat tire. With a prospective wait of 90 minutes for Good Sam to arrive I walked the rest area picnic area.
There was a great monument there honoring all those died in the line of duty while working on the great highway system of OHIO. Nice gesture and impressive monument.
The Good Sam man was faster making it just about a 90 minute delay including a quick lunch of lobster salad.
After another few hours of traveling we found this magnificent KOA campground in Wapakoneta, Ohio to spend the evening. We had very little RV’ers naming and guessing games for there was very little outside activity going on.
Tomorrow we will get under way about 7:30 am and head to Goshen Indiana via 33 to get the air bag fixed that was damaged during the flat tire.
After a glass of so of vino and a magnificent dinner of sausage, onions and peppers with pasta we had another early night.
