Today is Monday and we played tourist a little more this morning while the sun decided to shine.
Bearizona is a new drive though animal park that opened this past May. It has limited animals at the time but there is evidence throughout the park that work and new animal areas are being constructed. I feel that in a few years’ time this will be a very impressive place to visit. I have a few pictures of some of the animals close enough to capture with my camera.
Mountain Big Horn sheep
The American Bison, this is a very impressive big animal. He didn’t look too happy but they are working on a huge prairie area for him to roam around like his natural habitat. That will be nicer for him. I hope he gets there soon.
This sleeping fox is only 5 months old and cute as a button.
These Bobcats are so cute. I was my first time seeing a bobcat. These are only kittens.

The parks name sake BEAR IZONA. There was about 10 or more black bears in the area but this is the only one that seemed content. The rest were pacing back and forth by the fence not seeming happy. I hope eventually they settle in. I have many bears around my yard from time to time and to me fencing them in just isn’t right.
Bearizona will be an impressive place in a few years when they get all the areas done up and the animals settle in. They babies will be fine in their areas because that will all they have known. I hope the bears and the buffalos do okay.
I have one last picture for today’s blog. I found this cute couple sitting on a bench.
My great hosts Mike and Ms Shirley.
That is all for today hope you enjoyed my pictures of the animals. Thank you for reading my blog.
Happy Trails to you, Until we meet again.
